Under $5,000
Accommodate a Family
Make a very real difference to families facing a health crisis. You can help a family stay together by providing a night’s stay at a Wishlist accommodation facility. Cost: $80 per night.
Wishlist WiFi
Wishlist WiFi is available throughout SCUH to benefit patients and improve their hospital experience. Funding of $1,200 per year supports the maintenance and operation of this service.
Delta Therapy Dog Program
Pet therapy touches humans psychologically, physically, mentally and emotionally. Fund a therapy dog for a year for just $1000.

Solar Panels for Wishlist Centre
Boost Wishlist Centre's sustainability by increasing the number of solar panels - empowering eco-friendly energy solutions for a greener future. Cost: $6,744.
Manual Wheelchairs
Loss of movement impacts physically and psychologically. The SCUH Rehabilitation Unit urgently need 3 manual wheelchairs ($7,070 each) to give patients the ability to move towards companionship, a glass of water or to sit in the sunshine without having to wait for busy nursing staff.
Priority items over $10,000
Boost Gynaecology Services
Help us fund a Myosure device for better help outcomes for women. This device removes intra-uterine polyps, fibroids and other lesions under direct vision and lessens operating time and complications. This device will help over 100 women each year. Cost: $87,150
Youth Support Program
Did you know approximately 20 percent of adolescents are estimated to have a chronic physical, developmental, behavioural, or emotional condition? Wishlist needs donations to fund an Adolescent and Young Adult Care project to improve the health of more than 120 young people aged 12-25 each year through the delivery of a Chronic illness Peer Support program. Cost: $97,513
Empower Women's Health
With your help, we can fund an Outpatient Hysteroscopy Service at Nambour General Hospital for women undergoing procedures for uterine issues. Currently there is no option for a hysteroscopy to be performed in an outpatient setting. This service will allow rapid diagnosis and reduce the risk of anaesthesia and length of hospital stay. Cost: $136,280
Lung Research
Support Dr Julia Bashford’s respiratory study of immunocompromised patients. This important research project will focus on how novel molecular diagnostics could improve the detection of fungal lung infection in immunocompromised patients.

Power Wheelchair
Loss of movement impacts physically and psychologically. The SCUH Rehabilitation Unit urgently needs an electric wheelchair ($17,299) to give patients the ability to move towards companionship, a glass of water or to sit in the sunshine without having to wait for busy nursing staff.
Interactive Waiting Room
An interactive waiting area in the Ambulatory Care Centre at SCUH for children. This waiting area will help distract children and lessen anxiety, boredom and fear while waiting to receive medical treatment. Cost: $70,000.
Calm Fairies
The Calm Fairy helps anxious kids feel safe and calm in hospital. Ongoing funding is needed at $13,000 per year.
Music Therapy
Music soothes the soul. Ongoing funding is needed to continue this program for palliative patients and create a lasting memory for families. Cost: $43,000 per year.
Clown Doctors
Bring laughter and smiles to sick children at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. Help continue this $200,800 program.
